S00 / Trust

Trust, privacy and transparency by design

Knowrum should never ask for trust through vague promises. Here is what becomes public, what stays private, and how assisted features are identified.

01.00

Public rooms are genuinely public

A contribution posted to a public room can be read by others, attributed to its author, and included in the room’s synthesis. The interface makes that boundary clear before posting.

02.00

Private work stays private

Private drafts and writing support are not contributions to the room. They remain private unless the author explicitly chooses to publish their words.

03.00

Attribution follows the contribution

Human contributions remain connected to their authors. Platform-generated signals or syntheses are labelled as such so their source is never confused with a person’s voice.

04.00

Synthesis is reviewable, not absolute

A published synthesis is a useful map of the discussion, not a declaration that debate is over. It should be traceable to the contributions and open to correction.

05.00

Your controls live with your account

You can review your contributions and manage account-level choices in the app. Data requests and concerns can be raised directly with the team.
