Local Communities

Every city, village, and neighborhood carries problems that have existed for years — and people who understand those problems better than any expert ever could. Local Communities is the space where that knowledge meets action. We explore what breaks down at the local level, why it persists, and what a real solution might actually look like. Topics include stray animals, waste and recycling, land and water use, civic organizing, and anything else that shapes the place where you live. You don't need a title to contribute here. You need to have seen something, lived something, or tried something. That's the knowledge this room is built on.
